All thanks to Uncle Jo....

I managed to get hold of some Anna Sui products at a way cheaper price.

I am not an Anna Sui user of any sort therefore i am pretty delighted to have this chance to try them out without getting to pay the full price.

Here goes.....

My Pick 1:

Eye Color Duo in 01 (SGD51/-)

#01 is the combination of pink & black.
I bought this to actually see how pigmented their ES are.
The pink is what i expected, a sweet candy pink with soft shimmer.
Whereas the black, it is also what i expected, its a pretty smoky charcoal, it looks pretty matt to me.
The black could have be more pigmented (for a more strong look) but i guess this palette is pretty decent for a everyday use.

My Pick 2:

Lip Rouge Dazzle in #370 (SGD40/-)

This baby looks intimidating with the pink really popped by looking at it but don't get deceive it.

Its a pretty sheer rosy pink with shimmers in it.

My Pick 3:

Lastly, i picked up a fragrance...
Rock Me! in Summer of Love (SGD130/-)

I actually went down to the counter just to test out the various fragrance.

Finally decision is this baby~
Its an ETD, so will test out how long it wears in a humid country like Singapore.

Some details of it:
Top note: Bergamot, Blue water hyssop, Geranium
Middle note: White peach, Freesia, Waterlily
Base: Musky rose, Ambergris, Sandalwood

As what it says Summer of Love, yes it reminds me of that!
Really soft and girly flora scent, very different from what i usually wear~

Love it!

Well this pretty much sums up my posts.

Really happy with my purchase as i only paid 25%-30% for them (they are all brand new & in box) and absolutely cant wait to try them out!

Dont you just love the whimsical design of Anna Sui?

Luxasia Sales: Guerlain’s Ecrin 6 Couleurs

Went to Luxasia's Annual Sales last couple of week.

From its name, Luxasia is the distributor for alot of lux brands like Guerlain, Stila, Salvatore Ferragamo,

Marc Jacob, Lancaster, By Terry and more!

Look at the crowd!

It FREAKIN warm there, thank god it rained shortly i reached..phewww

The queue is so long that i queued up for at least an hr just to pay..

Didnt pick much, in fact only 2 items..

Guerlain’s Ecrin 6 Couleurs in 29 Rue De Serves (SGD113)

This was launched last year i think... the price is way beyond my budget for a palette.

The palette is pretty heavy for a 6 color palette.

This was SGD50 during the sales!

Hooray... grabbed 1 for Hui too!

A closer look:

It house a double headed brush not sponge applicator and the shades are very neutral and subtle, very blendable.

The center shade is the 'POP' color of the whole palette.

InkiONE KPOP Party @ Zouk

Went to InkiONE KPOP Party not long ago at Zouk hosted by ONE.

I was lucky to be able to get the invitation for free as was able to bring 2 guests with me.

So i dragged Sharon along to join in the fun!

At the entrance there are these live size board of several korea idol.

So Sharon & I being Korea fan went into our fangirl mood immediately.

hahaa..

We have Lee Min Ho from City Hunter, Hyun Bin from Secret Garden &
Jae Joong from Protect the Boss!

Urban Decay: 15th Anniversary Palette & Ubran Bride

Managed to get my hands on some Urban Decay babies sometime back...

Thanks to Eve (though NOT totally efficient), i am able to get them at a cheaper price!

My Pick:

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette (SGD80)

Didnt intend to get them but after reading all the positive reviews almost everywhere..

why not!?!

A closer look:

The lid is really pretty with the gorgeous border and it housed a mirror in its interior!
(p.s. i didnt peel off the protective sheet on the mirror)

The palette itself contains a hidden compartment where we can lift the palette up exposing it!

The interior is covered in purple velvet, so lux!

All the shades are exclusive to this palette!

The shadows are very pigmented and is smooth and blend-able.

Have been reaching Ace & Omen very often and yes, a little goes a long way...

A closer look at the products:

This kit contains a variety of products specially arranged for the bridesmaids.

All items are in travel size except the original eye primer.

The box can be emptied leaving a pretty box for storage!

Have been using this for a couple of times, and yes it does hold up my makeup pretty well (min migration).

But shine control wise, i credit it to my Mat Lumiere Extreme instead!

Supercurl Mascara

Razor Sharp Ultra Defining Finishing Powder

Im in loooove with this baby.

The powder is extremely finely milled and its pretty good at giving me the HD look!

One bad is the applicator, it is a sponge attached to the top of the container which is not the best at distributing the powder.

I will normally unscrew the container to get the powder with a fluffy brush instead normally.

Will be getting the full size soon!!

Sparkling Lickable Body Powder

This smells just like marshmallow, Truly Lickable!

Used it once, other then the smell & the fluff, there is nothing special about this.

Eyeshadow Primer Potion (Vintage Bottle)

I have reviewed this baby in my previous post.

Yes, it WORKS for me.

CREASING & GREASY LIDS NO MORE!

Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Midnight Cowboy

A very neutral and subtle gloss with a touch of shimmers in it!

Am pretty happy with this haul and found a couple of favorites at the same time.

A comparison with Glossimer in Mika

Its a extremely sheer (near transparent) gloss with sprinkles of gold shimmers in it...

perfect for a subtle shine on ur lip when wear alone

and also a perfect partner for all glosses when top on others!
Find this baby a lil stickier then M.A.C lipglosses/lipglasses but the shine is unbeatable!

Cant resist its calling, i grabbed this baby too..

Chanel's Mat Top Coat (SGD35)

This is my 1st mat top coat as i always think that mat is ~~boring~~!

But i am amazed by this baby here, now i call:

Mat is the new Shine!

M.A.C Nubile Paint Pot (~SGD32)

A closer look...

It a peachy-nude which i use it as a base but i find it too peachy as compared to soft orchre.

It set pretty fast, so gonna work pretty quickly with it..

Overall, it works pretty well as a base color.

Pretty happy with what Chanel rolled out for this Xmas...

Nothing beats a luxury shower of gold!

(a total of 4 cans which will cost 19.9 x 4 originally)

why not huh?

have pretty much mentioned bout this before when i experienced rosacea recently.

this water claims to contain like 15 minerals in it,

which will help do lotsa stuff like reduce redness for my case!

oh, and setting my makeup~

its free as i have reached another 200 points frm Vichy membership

retail price is SDG39 for 30ml~

ok, so with 4 cans of this water, i can practically drink it or sth.

so i fig out that i can kinda improvise it to a mask.

~8.30 rise & shine..comb hair bla bla bla...
so as i walk towards da washrm, i will ask mummy if she had her breaskfast & medication alrd or not.
(toilet for meeeeeeee)
cook some chinese herbal thingy for mummy & check if she has enough water to drink...
(breakfast for meeeeeeee)
feed mummy some fish or herbal or chicken essence....
household chores time (waterin plants, laundry, walk miu2, check out grocery for dinner, makin sure mummy is comfortable etc....)
shower and dress mummy.....
mk/buy lunch for mummy and check she has enough water to drink.....
(lunch for meeeeeeee)
household chores time (hang out laundry, ironin, gt ingredients ready for dinner, makin sure mummy is comfortable, watch a lil tv, cook dinner..etc ..ahaa, mummy will normally fold the dried laundry frm yest~)
dinner for daddy mummy.... medication & fruits for mummy
check if mummy has enough water to drink
(dinner for meeeeeeee)
household chores time (clean e kitchen, wash dishes and stoves, collect done laundry)
(shower for meeeeeee)
my own timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee till bedtime~~~

and da cycle repeats more or less da same except wkend coz ying is home to do da chores!
so do i qualify as a hsewife/maid? hahahaha

i pretty much like this routine.. nt sure izzit becoz she is my mum or wat.. but im happy mkin her comfortable tho its tirin at times~ :)) sch is statin soon, therefore mummy is also gttin more and more independent nowadays (showerin/go to toilet on her own as she gains strength day by day) just in case theres no one at home with her or sth... my strong mum!!

da shimmer are very subtle when with light hands.

this piece is my aim for da whole trip.

It only comes in 150 pieces and 60 of 'em are alrd reserved in Spore.

It was used in Chanel's Spring Couture.. which i fell in love at first sight!

Since its da first day of da launch, i, of course can gt it!

According to da BA this can be used as a highlighter or a shadow.....

which explains the applicator given...

if ya are new to Chanel's beauty, most of da items come with its own applicator.
if its nt in da case, it will be given separately like those below~

recently my face starts to have rosacea for some reasons

(which i pretty much fig out are da active ingredient's or my normaderm routine)....

me hopped by vichy's counter to search for a lil help!

rmbrin kx got this spray thingy which kinda helps her to calm her rosacea down... here i go gttin one spray of similiar kind frm vichy.. hopefully it help!

Also, da kind SA gave me this moisturizer frm La Roche-Posay (same family frm vichy)..

my mum is goin for a bilateral knee replacement (in simple words, put metal in both knees) op. in 2 weeks time. (25th July)

today one nurse told me he is in da parliament (like huh!?!)..

anyone played fatal frame 2 before?
played it like few yrs back with ps2 i think..
in front of 4-5 ppl in broad daylight... and yet i felt damn freaky bout this game with the joystick vibratin to scare da shit outta us (i will shout when it vibrates and it will freak da rest out too! haha)...
very high but horribly freaky game...
(objective of this game is to linked the story from the pieces ya found, kill da spirits along da way usin a camera, find da other sister and gt outta da town full of spirits (yes, japanese!) before some ritual if nt they will die or sth i think.. i dont really care, i just kill with my super cool shootin skills!!)

this is where i (a ultimate noob yet da only one dares to play coz im da only one havin no idea what shit game is this at tt time) kinda managed to reach within an hr with a friend readin the walkover magazine beside me ... haaa..

not da cheapest one can gt but 'ya gt what ya pay' applies to alot of Chanel's products (but its like way cheaper compared to a 200 buck spray can frm SKII right!?!).

has always been a fan for Chanel's foundation ever since i first used it 2 yrs back...

its super finely milled and delivers freakin dewy look~

my gorgeous White Essentiel compact which i decided to discon't using and give Mat Lumiere a try~
furthermore, my white casing is faulty (but i freakin love its white!) glossy black is just ARGH!
it leaves finger prints everywhere and mks da casin freakin disgustin, and my Chanel logo is not in GOLD somemore! ROAR

poor White Essentiel hittin da pan.... no fear... Mat Lumiere will save my day!!
White Essential is just a compact, but it alrd delivers rather gd coverage...
hopefully Mat Lumiere will delivers more being a 2-way foundation...

have tried many diff foundations & bb creams (liq or compact) frm common drug store brands (ZA, lo'real, BRTC, beauty credit etc.) to higher end ones (laneige, estee lauder, bobbi brown, MUFE, chanel etc) and nth beats Chanel so far for its shine control, coverage and effect it delivers...

which kinda explains my devotion for 'em and has no mercy to my pocket at ALL~~~

lookin at leonard preparin for his application to BU triggers sth in me...

Ive been thinkin what sld i do aft graduation since like er...... a yrs?.. 2.5yrs top.

Option 1) to pursue an undergrad degree or certificate in lgbt/queer/gender/sexuality studies maybe lets say in... CCSF which is in US of course.. tt is when and if i got da freeflow cash or miraculously gt a scholarship because im some proud asian or maybe a sugar daddy somewhere out there.

Option 2) to pursue a future in musical theater which means i have to start attendin musical schools to prepare for interviews and whatever shit, not to say sch fees...

Option 3) to get into Alpha academy which hopefully i can do sth i like when i complete it which means i have to start preparin all my skills to pass the auditions also sth not to miss... sch fees.

Option 4) go get a job at A*star cleanin ppl's data and cont my extremely vivid life for da rest of my life earnin a rather stable income.

Option 5) just go get sth tt pays me! anything!

Option 6) go get some guy and spend my life titled as housewife. (uhuh)

quite a handful... but sth to think abt esp when im still in debt for my current sch fees...(oh god)

was bored.. decided to reorganize some stuff...

managed to squeeze some stuff inside this makeup pouch which was a freebie frm some mag i gt frm tw...

so muchhh more organize now... BUT this bag is kinda small to squeeze all my babies in...

only managed to squeeze in most of my base prod, freq use lip prod, 2 shimmer bricks, 3 tiny palettes, & some falsies. such a tiny bag!..hmph. gonna gt one more of this pouch...

a lil neater now rite~.. hahaha...

ya can see how much space da pouch provides when my other babies need 3 more other pouches, all fully stuffed !!

i have always wonder how oily are my base makeup....

so i was bored while testin on a horrible smellin ginseng mask (nt tt it stinks in a rubbish way, just tt ginseng is nt my kinda smell) which mummy forced me to put on ... but i have to say da mask sheet is super fittin... =)

In sequence (L-R)... Laneige Skin Veil Fnd, Laneige BB Cream, HansSkin Magic BB Cream, BRTC Glamorous Sparkling BB Cream, Beauty Credit Coenzyme Q10 BB Cream, Odbo Protection BB cream, MUFE High Definition Foundation, Beauty Credit Whitening Sun Cream, Laura Mercier Oil Free Fnd Primer.

as we know, most cosmetics DO contain quite an amt of oil in it.. as seen below aft ~10 min on a blottin paper...

not surprise to see da results... bb creams containin lesser oil are BRTC's & odbo.. which happen to be at da higher end and have kinda a 'medicinal' property. Laura mercier has da least oil as it is oil free BUT it tends to mk my face really oily aft a while (ironic huh!?!).. so i kinda stop usin it... on da other hand...da one with da most oil is beauty credit bb cream which i dont really like to use due to its 'watery' texture, was surprise to see laneige bb cream to be tt oily !!...

I have super oily skin....but fret not... as i do mix prod to gt wat i want normally plus proper primin and moizurizin will do most (not all!) of da trick. haaa.

Kinda dumb experiment... haha... So girls out there, nxt time when ya are buyin any base prod (esp korean brands) ya may like to do this lil experiment on da spot b4 ya purchase it! =)

lunched with da gang at yuki yaki. It was a bomb.. hahaha.... cant stop talkin and gossipin... highlight of da day was initiated by kang hwee.... with those 'kiap' soft toy machine. She can simply 'kiap' a whole handful in an hr!!... amazin.. She then became our sole catcher whereas we all became her sponsors! hahahaha....

Mummy went Aritaum (kor watson kinda shop) to gt my laneige~Basically there are only 2 major brands here, i only gt Laneige and mummy gt odbo (atas subbrand by TFS) for us.

From Lanegie...

as i was plannin to change my regime... i decided on givin laneige a try since its kinda cheaper frm there... heee. Gt Pore Deep Clearin Foam, Skin Refiner, Gel Cream and the famous Water Essence. All prod smells refreshin and smoothin... which is gd! hahaha

Also gt their pack and peelin gel (which is an exfoliator if ya are wonderin wat izzit)... All raved by many... i gt their sleepin pack recco by mo2~ and their multiberry series: peelin gel & repairin pack. Haben try it yet... but they smell so deliciousssssss. Oh, 1 gd thing is they do provide ya with a spatula to 'dig' out frm da jar!... way more hygienic then doin it with our fingers!!

Make up.... Didnt gt much tho... Gt a liq foundation, BB cream, powder pact, loose powder, 2 lipstick and a highlighter. Its cute tt they do give extra puff for their pact. haha...

Their foundation and bb cream are more to the sheer side (but buildable), smells gd as usual.

heee. cant wait to try 'em on!!

'Service' (known as free gifts in s'pore) frm da shop. Was kinda delighted tt they dropped in a miniature set containin 4 items in it. They also dropped in a big handful of their water bank series. Which sadly i dont think i will be usin as hui & i have OILY skin and da stuff they gave are mostly for DRY - NORMAL skin. Which means if i use it i will be like a oil factory...

Who is interested to try those products??.. Do let me know~

bout their packagin design... their packagin are simple, all in white with a snow flake printed somewhere as Laneige means snow... So snow is white and yea... WHITE & SNOW!

what interest me is their interior. They have blue for skincare prod and bright pink for cosmetics prod. Rather cute i tot... hee

Up next is odbo which mum happily happily bought wo even tellin me....

odbo is highly raved by alot of ladies in asia... their mainly targeting at anti agin prod.

have their peeling gel, ginseng mask, collagen mask, soothin essense, eyecream, anti-wrinkle cream, sleepin pack, sunblock pact and of course their bb cream.

Im only interested in some of da prods. Their sleepin pack... will be conparin it with laneige's slpin pack. Their famous sunblock pact, it comes in a compact which interests me. haha.

Also their bb cream, it is pleasantly scented, offers better coverage then laneige's ones.

They believe tt by doin this, they will gain alot more potential and non-potential buyers, which i think kinda works in their country. Tt's why, koreans are well know in givin out samples, trial sets and even actual size products out. Da more ya buy da more ya gt for sure.. but even wo buyin anything you may end up havin a handful of sample sachets by just walkin pass/enterin their shops.

Seems like mummy daddy really REALLY enjoyed their trip this time, they look SUPER happy in every pic and vid as compared to those frm china (nt tt they dont enjoy all those countless china trips).. hahaha. Am happy tt mummy daddy are willin to give countries of foreign languages a try, and they enjoyed it!.. Their nxt stop... Japan~
